(Left) Central Park (Huntington Beach) Collage - Bill Leung - (Right) Barstow HS Boys squad rolls along in the Yucaipa Invite - Div II - After a relaxed start the group worked the hills and by this point after the mile they had five here visible among the top seventeen - they continued to move up to total 33 points in twenty team race!! - the gap 32 seconds 1-6 81:05 top five team time on course that runs very similar to Woodward Park (that's 16:13 average!!) - Wow!!!

Catch - up - BSAL Tri-Way back 10/4 Crab Cove - St. Mary's behind Tino Rodriguez (17:32) and Scott Howard (17:33) 1-2 Boys and Gabi Rios-Sotelo (23:36 girls ran 3.4 miles - Gabi not having a bad day) sweep opposition! - Results Carson City Invitational (Nevada) - Course Record runs by Jonathan Cardenas (17:30) and Collier Lawrence (20:24) of Reno who were just here for the Stanford Invite last week highlighted action - Boys team contest went to Galena (Nv) 27 with Reno 42 and Nevada Union third at 112 (these Nevada folks can run!!!) - Girls had Reno 34 over Carson (79) and Galena (90) with Sacred Heart Cathedral 129 in 4th! - Matt Freitas (Nevada Union) led California Boys at 19:10 (remember 5000 feet altitide and difficult (hills,sand, dirt!) - Michelle Gallagher (SHC) 2nd in Girls race at 20:50 behind Lawrence's CR - Results and pictures included King City Invitational - San Lorenzo Park (CCS) - David Muerer (Salinas) led his team to a 30-33 win over the host King City squad with his 16:36 win - Girls - Amy Cranford (20:40) and Nicole Williams (20:54) led Salinas to 1-4 sweep and 16 point total in three team meet! - Results Kamehameha Invite - Honolulu, Hawaii - Boys - Rubidoux was missing 3 out of their top 6 so Thousand Oaks dominated with 9 runners in the top 19. Michael Haddon 15:23 (Woodbridge) and Ryan Ketcham 15:32 (Thousand Oaks) broke the course record of Tyler Kastorff, 15:51 (Dana Hills, 2001). The 3 mile course is 110 yards long. The girls race was dominated by Whitney McDonald of Thousand Oaks in 18:25. The girls course record is owned by Christal Cuadra of Honolulu's Pc-5 in 18:18. The girls team race was also won by Thousand Oaks as they put 4 girls in the top 10. The conditions were in the 80's with high humidity.
