Corriganville Park-Simi Valley,CA
All dirt 3 mile course (seems a little longer) with mild hills and many
soft, sandy areas. Weather was warm with a light breeze.
Corriganville is an old western movie ranch where many western movie
and
television shows were filmed from the early 1940's through the 1970's
when
it was destroyed by fire. At one time, Corriganville was one of the 10
largest tourist attractions in the USA.
The Royal girls ran a strong race with senior Sara Montez and freshman
Devin
Noe running together throughout the race. Freshman Brianna Smith, Soph.
Taryn Hearst, and freshman Katie Weesner all finished less than a minute
behind.

Robbie Hector ran well finishing first for the Pioneers of Simi Valley.
