It was a warm morning at the Talley Vineyard in Arroyo Grande. The three
mile course features flat 1st and 3rd miles with a quarter mile of hills
in the 2nd mile.
In the Large School Boys race Danny Luna cruised through the grape vines
and bell pepper fields to lead the Paramount team to second behind a dominant
Camarillo Team. The Large School Girls race featured a dominating run
by Alexandra Forest of Dos Pueblos finishing well ahead of the next runner.
The team race saw Dos Pueblos win by a slim margin over Paramount.
The Small School Boys race was won by Cabrillo with top runner Duane
Solomon improving by 30 seconds from his race last year. The Small Schools
Girls race was won by Cabrillo, in a four point victor over San Luis Obispo.
