Linganore girls and Middletown boys won team titles in the 3rd Dwight Scott Western Maryland Indoor Track and Field Championships at Hagerstown JC.

Team scores:

Boys: Middletown 69.5, Thomas Johnson 64, Linganaore 55, Fort Hill 45, Frederick 42, North Hagerstown 40, Clear Spring 32, Urbana 20, Walkersville 10, South Hagerstown 8, Catoctin 7, Boonsboro 5, Brunswick 3.

Girls: Linganore 67, Thomas Johnson 60.5, Frederick 50, North Hagerstown 35, Middletown 34, South Hagerstown 31, Boonsobor 28, Urbana 27, Smithsburg 19, Catoctin 18, Allegany 8.5, Brunswick 7, Fort Hill 6, Williamsport 6, Walkersville 6.

Every boys meet record except one was broken or tied. Three girls records were broken and one tied. Noteworthy performances:

Boys: Mike Page (FTH) 6.4, Eric Necciai (LIN) 1:08.5, Tim Mason (CLS) 4:32.7 and 9:53.5, Derek Dye (MID) 6' 5, Richard Levy (MID) 12' 6, David Hose (CLS) 50' 5, Mathew Peters (SH) 50' 4.25.
