Frederick County Relays
Middletown boys and Linganore girls won an all-relay meet of 14 high schools from Frederick and Washington counties. Middletown won three of the nine events--800 relay, high jump, and pole vault. Linganore was first in the distance medley and 3200 relay.
Best individual performance of the night was by Kathy Messner (Catoctin), who started her senior campaign where she left off last spring -- high jumping 5-9. The leap equalled her PR and Maryland 1A record in the outdoor state championship last May. Natalie Dye also matched her PR in pole vault (9 feet).
