On the boys' side, Buchanan senior James McCurley had a 20-plus second PR to win boys' 1600 in 4:26.1! Clovis sophomore Mikel Thomas out very quickly in fine 9:46.6 win over Taylor Farnsworth. Arcata HS senior John Figueiredo, who was downright frustrated with injuries and contemplating other sport options just a few months ago, is healthy and running well -- including a nice 15:26.75 for 5k on the track on Saturday. "Jizzle Dizzle" plans to attend Cal Poly SLO! 2005 Outdoor Season Is Here! From the San Diego Section to the Northern Section and from Acalanes to Yucaipa, DyeStatCal will be covering the statewide scene en route to "The Road to Sacramento!"
