SPARQ
( Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction, Quickness)

SPARQ is products and training programs essential to optimize athletes dynamic athletic potential. It is a new company focused exclusively on the training and conditioning of competitive athletes and committed to innovation and the development of technical performance products which will revolutionize the way that athletes train for speed, agility and explosiveness.

As part of its commitment to innovation and training, SPARQ has also created the SPARQ Rating, a first-ever metric designed to capture and measure an athlete's dynamic athleticism. The SPARQ rating is a unique and proprietary program that weighs and combines the basic measurements of the traditional combine: the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, vertical jump and bench press. The program generates a single number, the SPARQ rating, which captures an accurate picture of a player's overall athleticism. This system is seen as an important new tool for athletes, coaches and fans. Most importantly, it will create a benchmark for athletes to measure their own progress as they train to improve their speed, agility and explosiveness. http://www.sparqtraining.com/default.asp

Here, athletes are trying out the new rating system.
