On a warm day, Colts Neck sr Craig Forys (right) was all alone most of the Grp 4 race, running 15:31. But Southern Regional sr Danielle Tauro was nearly shadowed by the outstanding performance of Forys' Cougar teammate Ashley Higginson. Highlights

• In just her 2nd race of the year, Danielle Tauro defends her Grp. 4 title in 18:06
  in warm weather. Colts Neck star Ashley Higginson gives her a battle all the
  way, running 18:10.
• With Higginson in 2nd and Bri Jackucewicz 5th, NE#4 Colts Neck wins the
  Grp 4 crown after moving up from Grp 3.
• Colts Neck sr Craig Forys dominates, just missing course record with Grp 4
  win in 15:31. Super soph Doug Smith of Gill St. Bernards is only other under
  16 with 15:48 in Non-Public B.
• Torrid Non-Public A battle sees Holy Angels top NE#8 Msgr Donovan, 69-71,
  with Red Bank Catholic and Pope John XXIII, which took the top 3 places, tied for
  3rd with 73!
