Long Jump Winners top 3: (from left) 2nd Sarah Matthews, 1st Shana Woods SO, 3rd Lundy, Shaquania SR-Shana Woods 19-11.75 is best in the US this year and a new national sophomore class record (was 19-11 by Cassie Richards PA in 1999).
Sarah Griffin-Matthews SO with her Dad, Thomas and Mom, Dayna. Sarah was 2nd in the long jump with a jump of 19 ft. which is fifth best in the US this year. The Matthews moved recently to Colorado from Kentucky. While most teenagers might be upset being uprooted, Sarah is very happy in her new surrounding. She likes the school, the competitions and she especially likes the skiing. Of course her coaches are not too keen on the skiing so Sarah has to do some smooth talking to get out to the slopes.

Triple Jump Winners and Long Jump Winners top 3-No you're not seeing double. These three West Rowan NC jumpers placed 123 in both the triple and long jumps.
