Waiting for the girls - less than a minute left

Brauksieck
had a steady race hanging third all the way behind Huddle
and Roetter. "I just keyed on them," Tracey said.
She added that Van Cortlandt seemed harder to her than Bowdoin
State Park, site of the New York Federation meet last week.

Stephanie Madia, 8th,
was the second PA girl to qualify for nationals (Jessica Cickay
6th) and was greeted by Julia Pudlin. Pudlin, a national
finalist last year, is out with an injury this year but came
to New York to cheer for PA runners

Madia: "I'm really excited to have another PA girl going,
because it shows that PA is deep, and that we're very good
competitively with other states. It's just awesome that we
can have two Pennsylvania girls. It's a shame
that Julia couldn't be with us."
