Clerk of the Course: Bob Ferrari (center) and his team Elise vonHousen and Jerry Bonner. Bob checks in hundreds of athletes very efficiently, while at the same time making it a fun experience for the athletes. Case in point is a tradition he established at the Brown Invitational of giving pizzas to each of the winners of the last heat (slowest) of the boys and girls relays. Bob is a former runner who competed at the HS, college and open levels. Now he runs Ferrari Engineering and gives the Brown Invitational 2 days out of the year.

Jesse Johnson- VA. Jesse has been in track and field for 39 years. He has been working the Brown Invitational for many of those years. He became acquainted with Bob Rothenburg while he and Bob lived and worked track meets together in Maryland. He now comes up to the meet from his home in Spotsylvania VA. For many years Jesse worked for IBM in Chicago and Palo Alto.

Race Walk Officials: (From Left) Randy Eastler-ME, Gary Westerfield-NY, Tom Easter-ME, Steve Vaitones-MA. If interest in race walking is growing, it's because of Randy's efforts and support, particularly in Maine.
