It was an international Arcadia with participants from Melbourne, Australia.
Off on school break the Ruyton School team with 12 athletes and a kangaroo landed in San Diego and then started running through southern California. They ran at Torrey Pines and Arcadia and planned to run at Mt. SAC the following weekend. Between meets, they made it to Sea World, Disney Land and other fun spots. |

Mildrette Netter Graves--1968 4x100m Olympian Mildred came to Arcadia Invitational wearing her medal to inspire and motive other athletes. Today, she lives and works as a business woman in Claksdale MS. |
