Team champion James Logan HS boys ride meet records in
shuttle hurdles (1:03.27) and Madera in the 4x1600m relay (18:10.00).
L.B. Wilson sets five meet record on girls' side (46.47, 4x100; 9:34.8, 4x200
1:05.2, SH; 3:45.20, 4x400; 71-1.75, TJ) but James Logan's awesome balance
still earns it the team title with an exciting 85-84 team triumph! Can they nab Poly?

Castlemont boys clock 1:33.01 in 100-100-200-400 and Mt. Eden
goes 1:51.2 as each team sets a meet record in sprint medley relay.
Jeremy Jones (Castlemont) 47.6 split; Maria Carrillo girls 12:40.48 DMR!
J.K. Withers (Card. Newman) 3:06 and 1:56.8 splits; Berkeley wins DMR, 10:51!

Eagle Invite 9-Way (SS)

Santa Margarita girls roll, boys prevail
Typical depth leads the Lady Eagles, with Lauren Collins faring well.
On boys' side, senior Ed Weseloh and frosh dasher Ryan Maxwell lead Eagles.

Dustin Martinez, Drew Woods, Jayson Hayes and Joe Gatel combined
their talents to carry Edison (HB) to a superb 8:10.31 in the 4x800 relay!
Reports are that Sunset League rivals Marina (8:10) and Ftn Valley (8:11) ran
very well elsewhere in state 4x8's this weekend, w/ Don Lugo and Upland at 8:05!
