Pole Vault Corner

Bob Low -UT. Bob finished 2nd in the pole vault. He's made a lot of progress since we saw him last year. We'll be seeing him at the Simplot Games. Go Bob!

Chad Andrews TX-Finished 3rd in the Pole Vault. It's very possible he might have done better. You see, Chad had a problem with his poles for this meet. He'd broken a pole before coming. So he ordered a new one. But unfortunately for Chad, the pole was sent to Omaha, Illinois instead of Omaha Nebraska. Hope he makes good use of that pole before he needs another one. He's going through poles very quickly. Sounds like it could be a good season.

Stephanie Best-TX Finished 2nd in the Pole Vault

Brianna McDevitt finished 3rd in the pole vault.

Chris received numerous compliments and hand shakes for getting MITC off the ground for its first year.

Devaney Sports Complex Track and adidas Finish Line Officials all decked out in their smart white blazers!

Bob King NE-Bob did a good job keeping order at the awards area. He shared a lot of information with me and was just good company.

Steve Morrison NE-Scott was meet scorer.

Doug Speck and Mike Kennedy, Announcers. In real life, Doug is a High School Athletic Director; Mike is with the Los Angeles Times.

Doug is also Editor and Publisher of CalTrack, the California high school track website.

John Ferguson, Delta Timing

Steve Holman-Interviewer and Announcer. Steve is an accomplished athlete in the mile.
