Katya Kostetskaya AR with Coach, Tafiana Bell-Zelentsora.
Katya is from St. Petersberg, Russia. She is an exchange
student here attending Junior High in Jonesboro AR. Katya
was 2nd in the 800.
Katya inherited good genes from her mother, Olga Dvirna,
a European Champion in the 1500. She travels with her coach,
an accomplished athlete in the hurdles. Coach Bell-Zelentsora
is sister-in-law to Coach Earl Bell of Bell Athletics Pole
Vault Club.

for Kearney and in particular, Colby Wissel, Stan's son
and Duane's nephew.

Coach Turek is coach of the Texas Express. He has some
impressive athletes under his care. And best of all he's a
great guy. |

Jenny Green NE-Jenny made a name for
herself this year by winning the Girls Pole Valut Summitt.

The've supported her through a tough start at pole vault.
She had to beg and fight her way onto the team as a pole vaulter.
(Girls just didn't pole vault in Nebraska, or many other places
until the past couple of years.)

Colorado's Liberty HS Coach,
Ed Somerville with Dustin Somerville. Coach Somerville
is a Coach of the Year for Boys and Girls track.He's also
quite an advocate for adjusting scores for altitude and ready
to talk about it.

in track competitions. She is a 7th grader who finished 12th
in the 60m dash preliminaries. |
