Class AAA Highlights
  • SE#2 Oakton boys dominate at 3-4-5 and roll to title with 71 to Albemarle County's 117. SE#3 Robinson only 10th.
  • Two-time Foot Locker Finalist and Mountain View sr Thomas Porter pulls away in last mile and takes 1st title with 15:13, with Atlee sr Ben Dejarnette 2nd in 15:18.
  • SE#4 Midlothian girls score 3 in top 10, led by jr Kat Lautzenheiser (18:18, 2nd), and win easily with 72 to SE bubble team Maggie Walker Gov's 126 and SE#5 Jefferson Sci/Tech's 128.  Bubble team Ocean Lakes follows with 146 and SE#8 Oakton 153.
  • Ocean Lakes sr Stacey Nobles edges Lautzenheiser, 18:15-18:18, for girls individual title.
Class AA Highlights
  • SE #1 Jamestown boys run 1-3-4 and run away with title scoring 61, with Blacksburg 2nd at 104.  HL#9 Potomac Falls close 3rd with 111.
  • Jamestown led by course record 15:02 by sr Andrew Colley.  Turner Ashby sr Alex Ott hangs on til last mile for 2nd in 15:12, with Western Albemarle sr Kyle Satterwhite also sub-15:20 at 15:16.
  • SE#7 Blacksburg and SE#6 Hidden Valley girls each score 47, with the former using 11-12-13 scores for 3-4-5 girls to offset at 2-3-5 start by the latter.  6th girl wins for Blacksburg (by 41 spots).  
  • Brookville sr Janel Reeves and Hidden Valley soph Annie Lehardy both run 18:26, with Reeves getting the win. 
Class A Highlights
  • Glenvar jr Megan Marsico rolls to course record with a 17:38, winning by 1:30 over Clarke County fr Sophia Holmes.
  • A 5-point win at the #4 spot (Leah Roth) provides narrow margin of victory, 51-54, for George Mason over Clarke County in girls team race
  • Boys team battle finds Clarke County rolling to 34-88 win over Radford, thanks to 4 in top 10.  
  • Seniors Ben Veilleux and Chris York are unstoppable duo for Clarke County, taking 1-2 overall in 15:37 and 16:18.
