Mark Cameron played the Star Spangled Banner to for the BorderClash. The national anthem is not something generally played on the bag pipes. Though not familiar with it, he was determined and he mastered it in one day! |

With a blast from the cannon, the race begins. |

| Overhead, the race is transmitted to the monitors down on the field below where fans and family follow the race. |

Sidelines are jammed with spectators stretching, leaning to see their favorite finish. |
