StretchRite - now official gear of USA national teams
StretchRite, a patented stretch training device that is used by Olympic gold medalists and more than 500 schools, has been added to the DyeStat online store, shopDyeStat. A proven physical therapy aid for 10 years, StretchRite is now available for track and field and cross country. The StretchRite program emphasizes stretching the speed muscles such as the quads, hip flexors, hamstrings, and glutes. "What's really great is you don't need a partner because the stretch trainer allows you to get into the right body position to isolate the muscle," Powers says.

StretchRite is made of heavy duty nylon webbing and ABS plastic. Powers says coaches like StretchRite because it is affordable, it makes stretching more fun, leading to fewer injuries and better performance, and it is available in custom colors to match any school colors.

The series is designed by exercise physiologist Scott Powers, inventor of the StretchRite stretch trainer. "The focus of stretching now is to run faster and jump higher, not just prevent injuries. We see so many athletes neglect their flexibility program which translates into tight muscles. A tight muscle will have a limited range of motion and definitely slows the runner," Powers says.

StretchRite becomes official USATF supplier

USA Track & Field on Thursday announced that StretchRite, Inc. has joined
USATF as an official supplier to the organization and the USA National Team.

A patented stretch training device invented by exercise physiologist Scott Powers, StretchRite has been used by USATF's National Team in the last two years and is made of heavy-duty nylon webbing and ABS plastic.

“The StretchRite program emphasizes stretching the speed muscles such as the quads, hip flexors, hamstrings, and glutes,” Powers said. “You don't need a partner because the stretch trainer allows you to get into the right body position to isolate the muscle.”

As part of its affiliation with USATF, StretchRite will provide promotional
product to USATF for use in Golden Spike Tour, Youth and Masters Programs,
and it will be included in USATF’s “Track-in-a-cooler” program. The product
also will be made available as part of the USATF merchandise program, with a
10% discount offered to USATF members, and will be sold at select USATF
events.

“We are excited about the possibilities this relationship offers,” said
USATF Director of Marketing Ivan Cropper. “The product is proven in the
marketplace and is an item our athletes use. Adding StretchRite as a
supplier to USATF will allow us to offer more benefits to our membership,
while creating a strategic alliance that should benefit both organizations.”
