North Mecklenburg NC boys, 3rd in the country in the latest
Harrier rankings, won the Invitational team title handily with
a 15:49 team average and 50 points, for a 51-point margin over Chapel
Hill. Mt. Tabor Winston Salem jr Matt Debole won the race in 15:12,
followed closely by North Meck's Kalib Wilkinson 15:15 and Jeff
Gosselin 15:22.
Myers Park NC sr Julia Lucas, fresh off a course record at Hagan
Stone Park in Greensboro recently, won the Girls Invitational impressively
in 17:53.
