The meet is directed by U. of Kansas head cross country coach, Tim Weaver.  The course is owned by Bob Timmons, Jim Ryun's college coach.  The course is notorious for it's statues of Kansas distance phenoms Jim Ryun and Billy Mills, and it's numerous uphills.  The meet brings over 2,000 competitors in 8 races.  Competitors travel from Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado.

Girls:  Lee's Summit 115; Amy Hastings 19:05 

Small School

Boys:  Warrensburg 47; Todd Spreer 16:57
Girls:  Skutt Catholic 62; Jennifer Woods 20:02
