Temps in the mid 90's kept times down over the rugged course on the former
State Hospital grounds.
Freshman Trisha Nickoley (Shawnee Heights) suprised a bevy of the state's top runners with a well paced race. Olathe South's girls topped a strong field that included defending state champs SM East (Class 6A KS) and Raytown South (Class 3A MO).
Dylan McClain (Lawrence) led his team to victory, just edging Matt Swedlund (Washburn Rural) and Chris Finn (Olathe South)
