At the Topeka City Track Festival @ Seaman HS 5/5 Cate Holston (Washburn Rural) won the 3200 in 11:11.1. She leads the state in the 1600 at 5:05.5, and has an earlier 11:05.04. Shauna Burrell (Seaman) doubled in 5:16.2 and 2:21.8.
JaNelle Wright (Topeka High) won the LJ at 18-1.75 and HJ at 5-6.

At the Derby Invitational @ Derby HS 5/5 Angela Buckner (Wichita
Kaupan-Mt. Carmel) won the shot in 44-6.25, Jamaal Holt (Wichita Heights) won the HJ at 6-9, and Daniel Cuellar (Derby) won the sprints in 10.6 and 22.12.

Christi Lehman (Hesston) pole vaulted 12-1. Her series include first try clearances at 10-6, 11-0, 11-6, and 12-1, then missed at 12-6.
