NOTE: This update includes the NIC and NSI.  It does not include the Michigan MITCA and Indiana Bomber Boiler Relays meets, as well as some of 400 individual performances  received on the Rankings Input Form recently.  Many of these performances are already included because they duplicate performances in the meets posted on DyeStat.  The others will be added for the final season update due March 30.   Please do not resubmit performances already sent on the Rankings Input Form.

With the 3/24 update, the 1600 was merged with the mile, and the 3200 was merged with the 2-Mile.  This was done to avoid the overlap between these close distances (only 9 meters for the Mile).  Performances for the metric distances were adjusted by adding 1.6 seconds for the 1600 and 3.4 seconds for the 3200 -- the adjustments recommended by the National Federation case book.  At the same time, the cutoff standards were raised for some events to keep the rankings around 100 deep.  The revised cutoffs are:

Mile:  Boys 4:28, Girls 5:17
4x200:  Boys 1:34, Girls 1:49
200:  Girls 26:04

Notations:
h = handheld time
p = time in preliminary rounds
(A place is shown only for the final round, but if a final round finisher had a better time in the preliminary rounds, the better time is shown with the "p" notation.)
c = converted (1600 to Mile, and 3200 to 2-Mile)

These are the elite of the 2000 indoor track and field season in the United States. The "season" includes meets during the school year plus the post-season Nike Indoor Classic (NIC) and National Scholastic Indoor Championship (NSI).

Lists include all athletes recording performances received by DyeStat that meet cutoff standards established by DyeStat. Also listed are winning performances at NIC and NSI.

Meets that are published on Dyestat will be screened automatically for qualifying performances.  To submit other performances for inclusion in the 2000 Indoor DyeStat Elite database, use the online rankings input form.
