Jeff Skiba, WA- was 2nd in the high jump.
Jeff has been jumping for about 1 1/2 years on an artificial
leg. His P.R. is 6'5. At birth he had no tibia, a problem
that could not be corrected. His leg was amputated and he
has since been using an artificial leg. He started jumping
because of a suggestion from his coach, who thought he might
be good at it. It turned out to be a good suggestion. |
