Invitational 500 meter - US Record

Chanelle Price (#19) bolts to the lead though a 54.7 400 meter split, en route to a new US record 1:10.30 in the Invitational 500 meter dash.

Invitational Mile

Carmel, NY senior Kristin Reese (#61) lingers at the back of the pack in the opening 200 meters (above left), before assuming the lead at the 400 meter point (above center), and opening substantial daylight by the 1200 meter mark (above right). At right, Reese charges home in the girls mile, hitting a US#1 4:52.65 over Melanie Thompson (Voorhees NJ) 4:53.58, and securing a bid to the 2008 Millrose Games HS mile.

Pole Vault

Nicole Pompei (Hanover Park NJ) was the PV winner at 12-03	Tory Worthen (Council Rock South PA) finished 2nd at 12-0.

4x800 meter relay

Garden City NY leads in the early going (left), with Conestoga PA close behind (center), and drawing nearly even by the third leg (right).

With a slight lead at the final exchange, Conestoga PA blisters a US#1 9:11.48 4x800, barely nipping Garden City NY (9:11.51) at the line.

Sprint Medley Relay

Cardozo NY led this one from wire-to-wire, handing off at the fore at the first exchange (above left), building the lead through the second carry (above center), and getting the stick to anchor Claudia Francis with room to spare (above right) on the final handoff. At left, Cardozo NY anchor Claudia Francis brings it home, winning the Sprint Medley Relay in US#1 4:04.14
