BOYS

Boy's Seeded Results

The rain had started to effect the course, and there was a huge pack of

fifteen at one mile, and ten at mile an a half before Jorge Torres and Fasil

Bizuneh made their move, hitting two miles in 10:03.

Jorge Torres kept going, winning in 15:46, with Fasil making his first trip

to the nationals. Brian Turner took third. Torres looked strong the entire

race and kept control at the finish. Fasil did a jump for joy at the end that

showed an impressive vertical jump for a young distance runner.

Xc champ, took 19th this year with a bad race. In post race interviews, Fasil

said that he had watched race on ESPN for six years hoping to make the

nationals.
