5000m rolling course.

Nationally-ranked Brookwood ran in the 5A/4A division and won with 20 points and
a faster scoring average (17:10 to 17:21). Joe Thorne won by 47 seconds over
Grant Eichenlaub of South Gwinnett.

Championship Girls:
Lakeside defeated Brookwood's girls 44-77 with defending state champion Rebecca
Mullen (soph) of Lakeside winning in 19:40 over Kathleen Turchin (junior) of
North Gwinnett (19:49).
