New feature on DyeStat
in 2001-2002 seasons
BALTIMORE MD 9/6/01 - DyeStat today announced a
new feature for the 2001-2002 prep seasons: the Nike Athlete of
the Week award. Starting with cross country season, the most outstanding
boy athlete and the most outstanding girl athlete in the United
States will be selected by DyeStat, based on performances in the
prior 7 days.
Winners will be announced on DyeStat Page 1 on Thursday
of each week from the beginning of the season through the national
championship week. First AOW winners will be named September 13
for cross country, December 27 for indoor, and March 28 for outdoor.
Winners will receive long-sleeve Nike dry-FIT jerseys as awards,
except in those states that prohibit such awards.
