Ozzie Pina (CA) has transferred from Lakewood H.S to national power Poly Tech. Pina ran 9:05 for 3200m as a sophomore in 1998. He will compete at Great American for his new school.
Lee Yaracs (FL) has withdrawn from the Great American Cross Country Festival. His team, Ridge View, will still compete in the Open Division.
After expressing initial interest, Ryan Hall (CA) has decided not to enter the Great American Cross Country Festival.
Justin Romaniuk (NY) has withdrawn from Great American due to a stress fracture.
Bryan Sullivan, a freshman at the Woodlands, ran a 4:37 mile and 2:03 800m in the 8th grade. He appears to be a solid top 5 runner for the team.
Charles Milloen (NY) will run in the Invitational with his team, St. Anthony's. In 1999, Milloen finished 4th at the NY Federation XC Meet and ran 9:12.18 this spring.
