NOTE: This update is missing several state meets.  However, all meets that are published on DyeStat will be screened for marks qualifying for ranking.  Please do not submit performances individually by email for these meets, as it will just slow things down.

The database now includes 6,000 performances, of which 3,947 are ranked (only the season best for an athlete is listed).  There are 7,000 athletes and relay teams and 780 meets identified.  Some great new marks have been added since the last update.  New leaders:

The DyeStat rankings are the elite of the 2000 outdoor track and field season in the United States.  By season's end, there should be at least 100 athletes ranked per event.  The "season" includes meets during the school year plus the post-season meets like the Golden West, the Golden South, the Great Southwest, the Foot Locker National Outdoor, and the USATF Junior Nationals,  along with major age-group competition such as the Junior Olympics and East Coast Invitational.

Lists include all athletes recording performances received by DyeStat that meet cutoff standards established by DyeStat.   In this period, the cutoffs for the 4x100 relay were reduced to 42.0 for boys and 48.50 for girls because far more than 100 teams had met the old cutoffs.

Meets that are published on Dyestat will be screened automatically for qualifying performances.  To submit other performances for inclusion in the 2000 Outdoor DyeStat Elite database, send email to DyeStat according to the instructions on How to get Ranked.
