DyeStat Elite

2000 Outdoor Cutoffs

This table shows the minimum standards for DyeStat Elite ranking in the 2000 outdoor season. Cutoffs are intended to produce the top 100 performers or so per event. A fixed amount is added to hand held times in races of 400 meters or less. A hand held time is adjusted upward as follows: 0.24 seconds up to 200 meters and 0.14 seconds for 300 and 400 meters.

7/12/00 revision: The cutoff for several events was changed because the old cutoff was producing far more than 100 performers.  The changed events: Boys -- 2-Mile, 110 hurdles, and 300 hurdles.  Girls -- Mile, 2-Mile, 4x400, and 4x800.

5/31 revision: The 4x100 meter relay cutoffs were reduced to 42.00 for boys and 48.50 for girls.

4/14 revision:  The 4x100 meter relay cutoffs were reduced to 42.50 for boys and 49.00 for girls.

Data shown:  Event, DyeStat Elite cutoff standard, Foot Locker Outdoor qualifying guideline, 1999 1st and 50th in DyeStat Elite US rankings, 1999 Foot Locker Outdoor 1st and 6th place, and 1999 Golden West Invitational winner.
