Don Lugo's Fitsum Tesfa -- the Southland's most improved runner over the last year -- was the boys
winner here, with Murrieta Valley's girls (in red) closing well to beat powerhouse Sultana in showdown!

Rialto's Daniel Cuevas, Temecula Valley's Brett Campfield and Murrieta Valley's Anthony Mercado
really challenged each other's fortitude in trying to get the upper hand behind Tesfa in the boys race,
but there was little competition for Murrieta Valley super senior Liza Pasciuto, who is dazzling these days!
