Elias Gedyon, who was among the nation's top age-group distance talents in recent
summers, will attend Loyola HS in 2007-08. "He recently split 49.5 so he has wheels,"
said Cubs coach Lalo Diaz. Gedyon has also run 1:55 and change for 800 meters.
