DVC is proud to announce that they will be getting a new track for
the Spring Season-2008.
Therefore, with construction plans forthcoming, there will only be two meets
this summer
beginning July 5th.
Summer all-comer track meet series is slated to begin
with two (2) meets in JULY, beginning
July 5th. Meets will begin at 5:00pm with the Field Events, 5:15pm,
Running Events (Steeplechase).
There will be a Rolling Schedule. DVC Head Coach Daniel Cruz has announced that
DVC will host
an all-comer track & field series with the steeplechase listed as the
feature event each week.
The Hammer and Discus Throws will not be contested along with the PV. Coaches
of HS and Club
teams are encouraged to bring 10 or more entrants to receive a discount on
entry fees.
