Day 6 Highlights
- Robin Reynolds (Miami Northwestern/Miami Jackson) started out her day with a 3rd in the Intermediate Girls (IG) 100, her only loss of the meet, but finished it with an epic US#2 and US freshman record 52.15 in her specialty, the 400. She was just .04 off Stephanie Smith's IG national mark of 52.11. Kristyn Williams (Dallas Gold/ Timberview TX) was 2nd with 52.59, herself just .10 off the former 9th-grade mark of Jerrika Chapple
- More 400 finals
- NIN champ and NON runner-up Briana Nelson (QuickStriders/J.L. Mann SC) easily won the Young Women's (YW) in 53.16
- James Harris (Speed City TC/Lanett AL) topped World Youth runner-up Josh Mance (So Cal Running Cougars/Chino Hills CA) in Young Men's (YM), 46.55 to 46.60
- Raevyn Rogers (Wings), got her 800/400 Youth Girls (YG) double with a 54.01
- Xavier Jones (G'Boro Champions) won the Youth Boys (YB) in 50.33, while Isaiah Duke (Unatt/Edmond Memorial OK) paced the Intermediate Boys at 48.49
400H/200H finals- Miata Morlu (Charlotte/) lowered her time to US#3 59.24 to win YW. Tia Gamble (North Texas) won IG with 1:02.03
- Sheroid Evans (Wings) blasted a US#2 51.54 to lead four under 53.00 in YM. IB decathlon winner Gunnar Nixon (Eastside) blazed a 53.95 for the IB win. Nixon also took 2nd in the IB HJ at 6-06.75
- The YG and YB 200H titles went to Jordie Munford (So Cal Comets) 27.33 (-1.6w) and Joseph Delgado (25.38 (-0.8w)
- Grant Hill (Huntsville) set a meet record in the 1kg discus at 189-01
- World Youth team member Ashley Aldredge (Peak Performance) set a YW record in the javelin with 148-06
- Carla Forbes (Waltham TC) leapt 38-09.75w (+3.6) to take the YG triple jump
- 1500 finals
- Claudia Francis (Team Evolution/Benjamin Cardozo NY) rolled to a 4:32.64 win in IG, completing her 800/1500 double
- Marielle Hall (Juventus) dominated YW with a 4:33.62, finishing a 3k/1500 double
- Howard Shepard III (Texas Stars/Lancaster TX) won a close battle in YM with 4:01.97, finishing an 800/1500 sweep
- IB went to Andrew Stewart (Ky Elite) in 4:05.31, YB to Ryan Silva (Az Tucson) in 4:14.92, and YG to Amy-Eloise Neale (Snohomish Track) in 4:44.48
- 100 finals (almost all headwinds!)
- Aurieyall Scott (The 747 TC/Eleanor Roosevelt) won YW in 11.93 (-1.7w), beating Dallas Gold stars Tiffany Hines and Veronica Jones
- After a record 11.73 in her prelim, Kendall Baisden (Motor City TC) won the YG final in 11.93 (-1.0w)
- Jeremy Rankin (Unatt/Overland CO) took a close YM battle in 10.80 (-2.0w)
- Olivia Ekpone (Maryland) handed Robin Reynolds (Miami Northwestern/Miami Jackson) her only loss of the week, 11.87 to 12.01 (-0.4w), with Dezerea Bryant (Mustangs) also nipping Reynolds for 2nd in 12.00
- Other winners were Marcelus Pope (Running Pant) in IB (10.91, -1.2w), and Darius Dean (Worldwide Track) in YB (11.40, -0.9)
- Jalisa Terrell (Sprint Athletics) and Mimieux Land (Ruff Riders) both cleared 5-08.75 in IG high jump, but Terrell got the win
- 110/100H finals
- NON champ Jasmin Stowers (QuickStriders/Pendleton SC) dominated YW with a 13.85 win into a 1.6 headwind, with A'Lexus Brannon (Port Arthur/Ozen TX) 2nd in 14.24. Winning IG was Chalese Davis (The Flying/) 14.11 (-2.0w), and taking YG was Dior Hall (Colorado Flyers) 14.34 (-0.3w)
- Vincent Brown (Virginia Spe) got an upset win in YM over Cameron LaCour (Track Houston/) at 14.00 (-1.5w), while Devin Hickey (No Cty Stallions) won IB in 14.59 (-0.7w). Walter Tucker (Unatt.) led YB (36") at 13.82 (-1.5w)
- The 4x400 relay titles in the HS-age groups went to Track Houston in YM (3:12.82), Wings in YW (3:40.69), Jump Start Athletics in IB (3:18.13), Dallas Gold in IG (3:44.16), Quiet Fire in YB (3:30.47) and My Stars TC in YG (3:51.46)
