Friday: The Robin Reynolds Show Floridian blasts 52.60 prelim in IG, wins LJ, qualifies 1st in 100; Baisden sets YG 100 mark

Day 4 Highlights
- Robin Reynolds (Miami Northwestern/Miami Jackson FL) won one Intermediate Girls (IG) event and qualified first in two others, but it was her super US#3 52.60 400 prelim that really stood out. She beat her two-year-old 53.10 PR and missed the freshman USR by just .11. She also ran an 11.68 100 prelim (+1.3w) and won the LJ with 19-06w (+3.6)
- Damion Johnson (Baldwin County TC/Burke Co. GA) flew to a 24-08.25w LJ (+7.3) victory in Young Men (YM), topping Emerson Sanders (Track Houston/Mayde Creek TX) 24-03w (+4.8)
- Top 100 prelims
- In Youth Girls (YG), Kendall Baisden (Motor City TC) nipped the national record for the division with her 11.73 (+1.9w), equaling her PR
- Four sprinters ran 10.44 or better in YM, all under windy conditions, in different heats. Heat winners included Jeremy Rankin (Unatt./Overland CO) 10.41w (+3.1), Blake Heriot (Pacesetters/Lincoln OH) 10.42w (+3.3), Everett Walker (Hallmark TC/Eastern Hills TX) 10.43w (+3.8), and Charles Silmon (Hallmark TC/Waco TX) 10.44w (+5.6)
- The Young Women's (YW) 100 qualifiers all broke 11.90, led by Tiffany Hines (Dallas Gold/Dallas Skyline) at 11.72w (+4.2)
- Other prelim leaders included Quinton Jones (Fort Wayne/Paul Harding IN) in Intermediate Boys (IB) at 10.84 (+1.5w), and Payne Hebron (Lightning) in Youth Boys (YB) at 11.22w (+2.1)
- NON champ Andrea Geubelle (Flying AJ's/Curtis WA) won the YW triple jump with 40-10.25 (+0.9w), with Jasia Richardson (Central VA/Tucker VA) 2nd at 40-05w (+4.6) and six others at 39 or better
- World Youth finalist Morgann LeLeux (New Height/Catholic New Iberia) took the YW pole vault at 12-07.50
- Aslynn Halvorson (Unatt./Butler NC) won the YW discus at 153-00
- Top 1500 prelims
- Claudia Francis (Team Evolution/Benjamin Cardozo NY) ripped a 4:35.91 in the IG prelim, the best time by more than 12 seconds
- Howard Shepard III (Texas Stars/Lancaster TX) led the YM with 4:01.87
- Danny Block (Unatt./Lake Park IL) won the YM discus with 188-08
- Adrienne Alexander (Metropolis/Bishop Loughlin NY) took the IG shot put with 44-00.75
- Derreck Edwards (Track Houston/Brenham TX) won the IB triple jump with 47-03.75w (+2.7)
- More top 400 prelims
- NIN champ and NON runner-up Briana Nelson (QuickStriders/J.L. Mann SC) ruled the YW 400 prelims at 52.93. She's already US#2 on the year
- James Harris (Speed City TC/Lanett AL) led YM at 47.30, with World Youth runner-up and US#5 Josh Mance (So Cal Running Cougars/Chino Hills CA) at 47.70
- Raevyn Rogers (Wings), going for a 800/400 YG double similar to what she did at USATF Youths (2:06.90/53.36), won her 400 prelim at 54.73
- Xavier Jones (G'Boro Champions) led YB 400 qualifying at 50.95, while Isaiah Duke (Unatt/Edmond Memorial OK) paced the IB at 48.89
- Kira Larson (Team Nodak) took the YG high jump with 5-05
- 4x 100 prelim leaders included Hallmark TC in YM (40.86), Track Houston in YW (45.85), Track EC in IB (42.15), Together Elite in IG (47.14), A.W. Brown in YB (44.40), and My Stars TC in YG (48.46)
- Best of Younger Divsions
- Bryce Love of Carolina Elite set his 2nd Midget Boys national record of the meet, winning the 400 prelims with 51.76. He had a near-miss in the 100 prelims where he ran faster than the 11.69 record, but his 11.59 was wind-aided (+2.4)
