| Saturday Highlights
- With his first attempt in the boys 5A long jump, Rowlett sr Marquise Goodwin hit legal 26-01.25 (+1.8w), #8 all-time
- In the 3A girls pole vault, Whitney soph Wren Bonner smashed her PR by 6 inches for a class meet record 13-00
- In the 5A boys 3200, Cedar Park sr Parker Stinson (8:54.70) ran smart and had the best kick in the last 80 meters to top state leader Reed Connor (8:55.25), who had not lost a race over a mile since October, and Strake Jesuit's James Webb (8:55.39).
- The Woodlands jr Sarah Andrews paced a 10:26.42 3200, just missing the state meet record, but keeping herself reasonably fresh for the 1600 later. Southlake Carroll sr Tara Upshaw closed her career with a PR 10:37.85 for 2nd
