They are here, NE #1. Here is what the Beatles say… The long and winding road That leads to your door Will never disappear I've seen that road before It always leads me here leads me to your door. Wait they don’t travel, ummmmm BUT they are still exceptionally good led by that Dawson kid they won big the other day at their DISTRICT 1 MEET: AAA BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP – PIAA DISTRICT 1 PLACE TEAM POINTS PLACES OF FINISHERS AVG. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah... With that said it looks like they may have to travel – to PORTLAND! #2 Shenendehowa, NY v. #5 Shaker, NY – Yea, the toughest “league” meet in the country – NO DOUBT – they call it the SUBURBAN COUNCIL, not to be confused with the Nicean Council and “The Decree of Heresy” which gave us the Nicene Creed circa 451 (finally approved at the Council of Chalcedon). Simply put some pretty damn good running with Shen winning over Shaker 36 to 81. Doc over BRD for the win 14:59 to 15:04. Danbury placed six in front of Glastonbury's fourth and seven in front of their 5th for the 27 point victory. Up next for these two quality programs is the CT Combined State Open is this Friday November 3. #4 Smithtown, NY – The Longgggg Islanders are on a training roll after their big win at Brown. They are in the hunt! #7 Collegiate, NY – The NYC based squad is prepping for their Ivy Prep School Champs this Friday, November 3. They won handily at their own Invite this past Friday at Vanny – a solid run. Dylan Trotzuk was seen taking times. Coach George Calano is still taking public transportation from Staten Island to Manhattan to coach his famous Dutchmen – the rumor that Smithtown was paying for a Limo are greatly exaggerated.
