rare meeting of top western US teams and the best of the East". |
Some of the greatest cross country team races of the year and of many years
will be held at McAlpine Greenway Park in Charlotte NC on September
25. The list of entries for the championship races reads like a
who's who of American high school cross country in the 1990's, including 20 1998
state champions from 16 states. Meet director Rick Hill calls it "the last great race of the
century." DyeStat will be there and this page will have
complete coverage before, during and after the meet. In addition to
the elite Race of Champions, there will be six other divisions: HS invitational,
HS open, JV, middle school, elementary, and adult.
