Do not think all of the fun will be in the Race of Champions. The Invitational race will feature many of the top teams from Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Top individual runners will include Sara Graybill of Daviess County, fourth in the Footlocker Southeast Regional; Ken Lanyi of Richmond's Thomas Jefferson, the 5th returning runner in the Southeast Region; Meghan Hoffman of West Potomac, the 12th fastest returnee in the southeast with a 18:48; and Brittany Mensen, the 14th top runner in the southeast with a 18:54 clocked at McAlpine last November.

The surprise of the meet just may be Casey McGraw, who will be running for Freedom High in Morganton, NC. She was the Minnesota State Champ last fall as only a frosh and has a best 5K of 17:55. Her family is moving to North Carolina this summer.
