| Commissioner Benepe is a track man. He ran track at Fordam Prep High and then at Middleburg College VT. The Icahn stadium is a "dream come true" for the Commissioner who was involved from the beginning in the planning for the new stadium and success in negotiations for a $10 million dollar award from Carl and Gail Icahn, after whom the stadium is named. | |
