Northeast Region Report

Week of April 15, 2006 - by Tim Fulton, Northeast Region Editor

Notes:  With the cold weather and long winter season, the spring track and field season is slow to get into full swing in the North East.  The Penn Relays are the unofficial opener to the season with most teams not worried about “running fast before Penn”.  That being said, NY, NJ, and PA have all put up some big times early and all will be well represented at Penn as usual.  New England get’s going the last two weeks in April as bigger invitational are on the horizon.  The next few weeks should provide us with more of an insight into the season.
