Boys and Girls handed off a small lead to star anchor Stacey Ann
Livingston, fastest 800 meter runner in the US the last 2 years,
so the issue seemed settled. APR anchor Selena Sappleton went for
the lead early and held it into the far turn of the last lap, with
Livingston content to draft a step behind. Then Livingston ended
things with one big burst on the turn to seal the win with a 2:10.5
split to Sappleton's 2:12.8.
