Central Catholic LA soph Jerald Watson, who runs track when
not playing baseball, blazes to finish in his fire engine red uniform.
Second was Heritage VA sr Michael Johnson.

Sophomore Jerald Watson was clearly visible with his bright red
attire on
this cool breezy evening. His hair also had some red tint to it.
That should have given an indication of what was to come.
He blasted out of the blocks and by 40m had a big lead. He continued
to pour
it on and separated himself from some outstanding sprinters. So
much so, that
one knew his time was going to be fast: 10.39 and into a 1.0 mps
headwind.
