William Penn PA jr Juanita Broaddus has a brilliant day, starting with the 100 (11.60 +4.9), continuing with a razor thin margin over Shana Cox in the 200 (23.71 +4.0 to 23.74), and ending with a come from behind rout as anchor of William Penn's meet record 47.04 win in the 4x100.

 


Byram Hills NY sr Greg Simonds, who will run for Cornell next year, is the US#1 400m hurdler, and he won his specialty here in 53.83. He also runs second in the 400 as well as a good leg of his team's 4x400 relay.

Also noteworthy on Saturday:

  • Shenae Dawkins NY double: 13.96 100H and 38-11.
  • Christina Smith PA US#2 in 400 hurdles at 60.98.
  • Boys & Girls NY overcomes dropped baton to win 4x400 in 3:51.94.
  • Bronxville NY girls miss expected matchup with Boys & Girls (who scratched) but get meet record 9:09.83 in 4x800 running alone the entire way.
  • Canadian Hank Palmer wins 100 in 10.63 +4.1.
  • Stanley Lagrenade NY 1:52.43 800m
  • UConn recruit Jake Radzevich NH 15-0 PV.
  • Stacey Ann Livingston NY 2:09.77 800m

Molly Huddle was a dominating winner in the 3200 Friday night (left) and then was upset by 8th grader Nicole Blood in the 1600 Saturday afternoon (below).
