Women's High Jump

Ashley Robbins 5-11.5

Tilden TX jr Ashley Robbins, runner-up in Raleigh last week, came out on top this week at 5-11.5 as Raleigh champion Chaunte Howard went out after making 5-9.25, more than 4 inches lower than her winning height at Raleigh. Dos Pueblos CA sr Kaylene Wagner, who is signed to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo next year, got the silver medal on a tie breaker over Auburn freshman Kaylah Burks at 5-10.5. Both Robbins and Wagner have topped 6-0 this year, meeting the World Junior qualifying standard.

DyeStat "graduate" Krystle Moss (Thomas Jefferson HS, Alexandria VA, class of 2001) finished in a tie for 5th. She reports she enjoyed her freshman year as a Gator at U-Florida.
