43rd Golden West Invitational

Javelin Throw

June 8, 2002 at Sacramento State University, Sacramento CA

Boys - Girls

Daniel Brant OR 196-10, Rachel Walker LA 151-10

Boys

Top-seed Tommy Skipper had a sore shoulder, so he scratched to save himself for pole vault. But Skipper still came around to the javelin to give some tips to fellow Oregonian Daniel Brant. It must have helped. Brant won the event on his last throw.
