After a third lap in 78.6 seconds, the pace picked up at the bell with all three
still having a shot to win. Infeld made a bold move on the far turn
and got in front in the home stretch.

But Infeld didn't seal off the inside, and Bohnsack rallied back
to win by a hair with a 69-second last lap
and negative splits of 2:29.8 and 2:25.4.
