REGISTRATION
Thursday, June 13, 5-9pm (Sheraton Capital Center), Friday, June
14, 9am-1pm (Sheraton
Capital Center), 3-9pm (Derr Track @ NC State U), Saturday 7:30am-9am,
10:00am-5pm (Derr Track)
- Your packet is filed alphabetically via school name. Since biographical
information is now included in the entry blank, there is no necessity
to fill out a bio card.
- USATF card – you must have a valid USATF card in order to
pick up your packet. If you do not have one, you may purchase one
at registration or at the USATF web site, www.usatf.org. If you
have a valid USATF card, but for some reason do not have it with
you, you may fill out a waiver stating that fact.
- Each school receives one coach’s admission bracelet for
coach or adult accompanying athlete.
ADMISSION TO DERR TRACK
- ATHLETES – Admission is via the competition
number. Athletes are to enter only through the “gravel road”
gate on the east end of the track.
- COACHES – Enter through normal admission
gate or above “gravel road” gate and show
admission bracelet.
- All others must purchase admission bracelets.
ACCESSIBILITY TO TRACK PRIOR TO MEET
- Athletes are welcome to use the track and field facilities during
non-competition hours.
WARMUP DURING MEET
- Athletes may warm up in the field on the east end of the track.
HEAT SHEETS
- Preliminary heat sheets will be posted at registration Thursday
evening. Heats sheets for day 1 will be available on Friday morning
at registration. Heat sheets for day 2 will be available Saturday
morning at the track.
HOSPITALITY
- There will be a hospitality area during registration hours the
Sheraton Capital Center. It will be in the registration room.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
- Loop #1: Crabtree hotels (Ramada, Holiday Inn, Clarion (formerly
Four Points Sheraton) – Thursday evening and Friday morning/early
afternoon to the Sheraton Capital Center for registration. From
Crabtree hotels to the track Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.
- Loop #2: Sheraton – Derr Track – Brownestone Hotel
– Clarion Downtown (formerly Holiday Inn Downtown) –
similar schedule as Loop #1. Bus schedules will be posted at hotels
and at www.dyestat.com.
AWARDS
- Championship rings will be awarded to each winner (including relays).
Medals will be issued to the first six places. Special adidas awards
will be given to the first five places. The first six places will
be named Accelerade/NSSF All Americans. All-American Certificates
will be distributed at the awards ceremony.
