Coach Sean Rice and his Midwood boys watched at the New York Armory
Thursday as Old Bridge NJ and South Shore NY duelled in the boys
DMR of the Holiday Classic. After Old Bridge won in 10:37.49, Rice
figured a 10:45 at the slower Brown track would be competitive.
The Brookyn team ran 10:42.93 to edge Bishop Hendricken RI 10:43.25.
Rice was satisfied with the comparison to New York Armory competition,
saying "We can run with those guys."
From left, Midwood DMR team: Marius Skarbauskas 4:29.3,
Nathaniel McDonald 3:16.9, Peter Brooks 55.5, and Greg Sagnan 2:01.2.
